'Not Spot' Broadband Scheme Wales
Helping communities find broadband solutions
Connect Cardiff can help in areas where you do not currently
receive broadband or that obtain a consistent download
speed of less than 512Kbps.
The Welsh Assembly Government Broadband Support Scheme for Wales
allows individuals within a community to each apply for up to £1000
towards the infrastructure costs to install a sustainable
solution.
We are able to offer both microwave (wireless) and fibre optic
solutions, including next generation access services such
as Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC).
If you think your community may be a Broadband 'Not Spot' here's
what you need to do:
1. Go to http://www.samknows.com/broadband/broadband_checker
to get confirmation of services (or lack of them) available.
Here's a guide to help you do this.
2. Register on
our website giving us your postcode so we can do further
surveys.
We will work with you to find the right solution for your
community as it will depend on the number of people interested and
the location.
